our water treatment system.

- Lampman has volunteer ambulance service, volunteer fire department and
emergency rescue.

- Garbage Pick-up: Every Thursday morning, garbage must be in bags
and in the bins by the curb.

| A Little Bit of History |
| The village of Lampman, Sask. was founded on September 13,
1910 and gained the status of town on June 1st, 1963. The village was
originally named for Archibald Lampman, a Canadian poet whose more famous
works include "Among the Millet" and "Lyrics of Earth". The Lampman Area was
first settled in 1890 and the railroad arrived in 1909. |
