  • Lampman's population is approximately 735 people.
  • Lampman's water supply is obtained from 2 deep wells and goes through our water treatment system.
  • Lampman has volunteer ambulance service, volunteer fire department and emergency rescue.
  • If you are visiting our community or planning to relocate, The Town of Lampman has a variety of services and organizations to make your stay here a great one.
  •  Garbage Pick-up: Every Thursday morning, garbage must be in bags and in the bins by the curb.
  • Recycle Bins: Located at the waste disposal site.
  • Waste Disposal Site Hours are: April 01 to October 31; Tuesday 3 to 8pm,  Saturday 10am to 3pm, Sunday 2 to 4pm
  •                                                 November 01 to March 31; Tuesday 3 to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 1 pm, Sunday 2 to 4pm

The R.M. of Browning and the Town of Lampman share joint services regarding fire department, recreation, waste disposal and recycling,
The R.M. of Brownings Council is comprised of a Reeve and 6 councilors.

A Little Bit of History
The village of Lampman, Sask. was founded on September 13, 1910 and gained the status of town on June 1st, 1963. The village was originally named for Archibald Lampman, a Canadian poet whose more famous works include "Among the Millet" and "Lyrics of Earth". The Lampman Area was first settled in 1890 and the railroad arrived in 1909.
